The Sun will come out….
Today!!! Yes, finally after a snowy weekend the sun decided to show its face again. It is wonderful to feel the warmth and see the bright blue skies. It does bring colder temps and windier conditions. Today was 18`, cold for walking on campus, but I am very grateful.
I have learned today that the month of February will not exist for me. I am working on costumes for two shows in two different locations and building sets/slash sewing huge drapes for another. So, I probably will not be posting much around then. I thank those that still keep in touch.
Last night we had a special training for relief society and the High Coucilman said that in challenging times there is always a rainbow. Mine is called March…
I wanted my family to let them know that I do have a goal to post pics from the holidays on Shutterfly or where ever to send them to everyone. Hopefully I got some good ones of your kids.
Hope the sun is shining where you are today!
Inversion
In meteorology, an inversion is a deviation from the normal change of an atmospheric property with altitude. It almost always refers to a temperature inversion, i.e., an increase in temperature with height, or to the layer within which such an increase occurs. [1]
An inversion can lead to pollution such as smog being trapped close to the ground, with possible adverse effects on health. An inversion can also suppress convection by acting as a “cap”. If this cap is broken for any of several reasons, convection of any moisture present can then erupt into violent thunderstorms. Temperature inversion can notoriously result in freezing rain in cold climates.
Thank you Wiki for teaching me what all this nasty weather is about.
Dear Weather Gods,
Please take our cloudy days away. It has now been well over two weeks since we have seen Mr. Sun. My family is experiencing a certain amount of weather caused depression and our bodies crave Vitamin D from the sunshine. I long to be woken up by the bright clear skys of morning but instead I have a hard time rising before the late hour of 9.
I really, really, really miss the sun.
The Book of Mormon in 59 Days
We were challenged in Relief Society to read the Book of Mormon in 59 days. It started one week ago and you have to read 9 pages a day. I decided that this was a great challenge for me because I knew it would be really hard. One of my goals this year is to become closer to Christ. I thought I would go about that by reading Jesus the Christ but when I heard about this challenge, I thought that would be a good place to start.
I am now in Nephi 2 and the experience has been totally different for me. Normally, I try to read maybe a chapter a night. Reading this quickly has really helped me see how much Christ is prophesied of and testified of. It is really hard for me. Nine pages is alot right now and school starts tomorrow, so it is going to get harder. But I know the end goal and that is what I am focusing on. I do believe that it will bring me closer to my Savior.
2 Happy
We recently got back from our 3 week vacation. We had a great time, but we are so glad to be home! After visiting family, the last leg of the trip was a short stop in Chicago. I am calling this our 2 year anniversary celebration. Chicago was great, but extremely cold. I don’t think I would ever live there or go back in the winter, unless I had to. The two full days we were there it was less than 20′ outside! Freezing! One of my favorite parts was a great gift from Ryan and a big suprise for both of us. Here are some pics:

We went to see the Broadway musical Wicked! This has been something I have wanted to do for along time. It was fabulous and I am so happy we got to go. It was Ryan’s first time at a prodcution like this.
We had a great time celebrating these last two years together. It surprises me how much things have changed and how much better they have gotten. Not that they were bad, but it is great to recognize progress and I know there will be more throughout our whole life.
