Back to School—FINALLY!

Classes started today for what is hopefully my final year towards a undergraduate degree.  I just want to say…I love college!  I really have enjoyed every semester of my college experience and am so glad to be back.  There is a good reason I am particularly excited this semester (please do not think I am rubbing this in!).  I am just so grateful to have an awesome schedule for this semester.  Only on Wednesday do I have a long day…from (9:30-6:00).  I don’t have class on Tuesday and Thursday, but I do have an online class which I am planning to spend a couple of hours on.  And then on Monday and Friday only from 10:00 to 3:00 and that is including the time it takes to ride my bike.  I am so grateful that I have some time to be home and clean!  Ryan also started school today…he is there right now.  He is now going to work full time and school part time (every night until 7:00).  I feel bad for him but glad he takes care of us so well.  That is why I am so happy to be home to have dinner ready and clean, so he doesn’t have to worry.

Classes seem great.  Shakespeare-Comedies and Romances—wanna know what the teacher is like?  Think the extremely stereotypical english professor that all the female students swoons over.  Glasses and button up shirt-oh but he leaves the top two buttons undone.  I was like are you kidding me and the girls next to me kept giggling.  I just found it funny.

Then, Theater Management, Theater History III (which has an awesome teacher) and so far that is all I have had.  I loved going to BYU, but most of my classes were huge.  BSU is more like UofA where it is big and it feels big but the theater department is small and tight knit.  My biggest class was 35 and the smallest was 12 I think.  All in all, I think it will be a fabulous semester!!

The summer is officially over…

I know you all have missed me and I have missed you.  I am glad to be back from vacation and starting school next week.  Ryan is starting as well and that is going to be hard but it is all exciting.  Right now I am trying to use the power of forgiveness.  I had a great trip with my parents but United Airlines had to ruin it on the last leg.  Ryan stayed home and a week apart was very hard.  Neither of us could sleep very well and I was definitely ready to come home yesterday.  But the plane was late and I missed my connection in Denver.  Luckily they were kind enough to provide a hotel room.  I ran from the plane by the way!!  I tried my hardest but the plane I was trying to catch left early…hmmmm….

Today I am so glad to be back home and with Ryan again.  I had the best trip to see my family as possible (the only thing better was if Ryan could have come), but I am glad to be home as most are after a trip.    But now I am waiting for my luggage.  I can’t call anyone b/c my phone is dead and the airline is giving me ZERO information.  How can they treat people like that?  That is the big question of the day.  Not to mention I had to pay $15 for my bag…not on the way there of course but it changed within 7 days!  But of course that has nothing to do with if I actually ever get it back!  Oh well!

Sorry for my anger!  Next time it will be better…IF I get my stuff.
