This last weekend I had the pleasure of hosting my two sisters and mom.  This was my first experience at doing so and I learned a ton!  But we had so much fun.  The best part had to be tubing at Bogus Basin.  They have an awesome tubing hill (see pic on previous post) that is fast and totally safe and you don’t have to walk back up afterwards.  They have a cable you hook your tube to and ride all the way up.  The best part was all of us going down at the same time holding on to each other’s tubes.  We were like lightning and took a dad and his son out at the bottom of the hill.  I am not sure how it happened.  But they wouldn’t move and all I heard were screams and saw a kid sprawled out knocked off of his tube.  We felt really bad but there is no way to prevent this…  Here is a glance at our fun weekend…

This was hilarious.  My mom was the first to go down being spun and whipped around! And we just stood there laughing like crazy and watching her go down to the bottom.  What joy…

We had a great time but it was also a learning experience for me.  I never knew it was so hard to be a host, not that guests were difficult in anyway.  It is just different having people come in to your home and it is good to know what it is like from this perspective.  I will be a better guest now maybe?!  But probably not.  And my wonderful hubby had to put up with all of us but surprisingly enough he wanted to hang out more than I expected but I did feel so bad when he babysat for us and had a difficult experience.  He learned he doesn’t like to babysit by himself.  But he was a good sport and next weekend is all about him…   Thanks to my fam for making the long trek west.  It was great fun!  Love you girls.
