Skittles

Boy, today has been a really busy day and record breaking for the small practice I work at.  We saw 25 patients which is great and a goal we have been working on.  And when you get busier, there are always other perks lying ahead (a.k.a. a raise or other benefits…)

So, this is going to be a sporadic post but just some things I have been thinking…

First of all, Project Runway.  I was so angry this week because another great designer was kicked off when, Ricky, Mr. your designs make me want to gag, is still on the show.  First of all, is it a coincidence that all of his designs have such a close resemblance to lingerie when that is what he does for a living.  I just hate to see amazing talent get kicked aside for a crybaby who should stick to lace.

My favorite show right now due to the extremely annoying consistent writers strike is The Biggest Loser.  Aside from the constant crying that we always fast forward through, it is a really motivating show.   After I watch the first half and see them working their butts off, I get dressed and go enjoy a truly inspired workout.  It is probably the only time during the week I really feel like going.  Its mostly b/c of this woman:

I go and just imagine Jillian screaming at me.  “Don’t touch the treadmill!  Hands off the treadmill!” Its so helpful for me, might not work for everyone but I love it.  This season has couples working as a team and I think it is great.  People really need it to help them survive and live.  Anyway…

Speaking of support, we went snowboarding last night and I really needed some.  Ry is so good.  He waits for me and lets me go ahead b/c I always take way longer down the hill.  And I was not fun last night and he is so patient and puts up with it.  It was just a bad week for that kind of stuff.  You know what I mean. I wish I could learn from his example.

I love THe Biggest Loser too. Good for you for turning off the TV and being really motivated by it! Having kids makes it so much harder to just put your tennis shoes on and get out the door. We’re trying here though!

I can’t figure out why this post is names “skittles”…….
