Just a little “Suite”
The first weekend of October, my boss sent me to Salt Lake City to a conference. My plane ticket and hotel room were free so Ry and I thought it might be a fun gettaway weekend for us. So we picked up a ticket for him and were excited to know that it was also General Conference weekend so maybe we could get in. Well, the hotel, to say the least, wasn’t the best place in the world. It was the Sheraton City Center so it was big and nice but the service was a little…weird. I went Thursday night without Ry and awoke to a huge bill in my room the next morning; with somebody elses name on it. So I took it to the front desk and got them really confused. The were like “umm, you didn’t stay in this room, you are supposed to be in room 118.” Me- “No, I slept in that room last night and my stuff is in there now.” It took me about 5 minutes to convince them that is where I stayed. They never actually figured out how that all happened. Then the girl told me that the room I am supposedly checked into is a suite with a jacuzzi. “Would you like to switch rooms?” Uhhh…let me think, free room with personal hot tub…I didn’t have to think to long. Relaxing in the hot tub is one of my and my hubby’s favorite past times. We get in our apt. hot tub almost everyday. That is one of our favorite things to do together. So, we had a great weekend. Our Room was huge! All thanks to my boss. By the way; it was a really great conference for my job and things are going really well. We didn’t get into conference, but it was a great experience to be in Salt Lake at that time and we did watch a session in the Joseph Smith Center. Take a look at our jaccuzzi:
