My Blogging Conversion

When my husband started his blog last summer, I honestly never even knew that people did this. I had never read or seen one before. Don’t get me wrong, I know how to use computers, I guess I am just a little behind in the internet world. But I never thought I would want to do that. Then, my brother, who I adore, left his family to go serve in Qatar for the Air Force. Don’t be worried, it is a relatively safe place to be, especially over there, but you just really never know. So my sister-in-law started a blog, so we could all keep up with him since talking on the phone isn’t really an option. So once that started, I was hooked! First of all, I think I have spent about maybe a total of two weeks with KM, maybe more, but it doesn’t seem like it. Life is always so crazy when the whole fam is together. But with her blog, I really have felt like I am getting to know her. Not to mention that writing brings out a hidden personality in each of us. I have enjoyed tracking her daily experiences and of course, love seeing and hearing about their cute little kids. But KM, my sister-in-law, has really helped me feel inspired. She recently went on a 3-day walk for breast cancer and I cried every time I read her experiences. I am hoping to arrange my own team for the San Francisco walk in September 2008 and inspire others through my blog as well. So, I am truly converted to blogging and thought I would try it out myself. Now I am studying my other sisters-in-law blogs as well to get to know them better. And maybe you can get a little insight into who I am as well.

The other reason I have been putting it off is because I feel like my life is rather calm or boring maybe. I mean, we don’t have kids and everything is pretty normal so what do I have to say?! But having a blog makes me feel like I do have something to say about everything and anything.
